As a spiritualist, I do my best to remain vigilant about the energy I allow into my space.
I don’t watch the news.
I avoid conversations about politics and religion.
I’m not caught up in trends or celebrity drama.
And I keep my distance from people with narrow minds and limited perspectives.
One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned on this journey is the power of personal accountability—and the freedom that comes with accepting what is.
What I’ve come to realize—and what many still haven't—is that the more you try to force change outside of yourself, the more resistance and problems you create.
Back in 2006, Rhonda Byrne introduced The Secret to the masses and shifted collective awareness.
But conscious manifestation isn’t new.
It’s ancient wisdom, just repackaged for a generation hungry for control.
Even in my intentional bubble of peace, I still feel the weight of the world at times. I get angry, frustrated, even disheartened by what’s unfolding around us. But over time, I’ve trained my perspective to find the silver lining—even in the chaos. Sadly, most people can’t—or won’t—do the same.
The truth is, the more you focus on a problem, the more that problem expands. The universe will keep feeding you what you're energetically feeding.
My life didn’t shift until I took full accountability. Not just for my actions, but for my thoughts, emotions, words, and environment.
That kind of self-responsibility created discipline. It forced me to draw real boundaries.
And it revealed a hard truth: I was at the center of everything I thought was a problem.
I was calling in chaos through the choices I made.
Control is the real pandemic.
And I want to talk about it.
Life doesn’t have to be this hard. But the obsession with control makes it so. Everyone’s trying to control someone or something.
Parents want to control their children.
Children grow up and try to control their parents.
Bosses try to control employees.
Governments try to control the people.
Customers want to control people in service.
"Karens" try to control strangers.
And all of it is a distraction.
Every single thing you're trying to control outside of yourself is keeping you from what truly matters: you.
Let’s talk about it.
Look at all the distractions right now:
Wars over land, race, and religion
LGBTQ+ vs. heterosexual debates
Black people vs. the world
GMO and fake food
Reparations, aliens, global warming, human trafficking, the Illuminati
Inflation, survival, and just getting through the day
So many fires to put out—and no one's tending their own flame.
Why are we fighting each other?
Why are we so angry, afraid, and out of control as a collective?
Is it the government? Religion? Extraterrestrials?
Or is it just... us?
This isn’t about blame—it’s about shifting the lens.
Maybe we’re all out of control because we’re focused on controlling the wrong things.
People lack self-control but want to dictate how others speak, feel, think, and live.
It’s like Lord of the Flies—a bunch of confused, power-hungry children trying to lead, and doing it through secrecy and force.
And while they lead, they rob everyone else of the chance to grow, learn, and evolve.
The distractions are working.
They're so layered, so well-woven, that most people can’t even see the way out.
Like Beanie Sigel said in State Property: “You can either get down or lay down.”
And subconsciously, most people choose to “get down.”
It’s not their fault, though. The system has been masterful in its design.
From birth, your mind is conditioned to believe in your own limitations. You’re boxed in—mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
If you don’t believe in your own power, and you can’t even see a way out—how can you expect to control your energetic reality?
And if you can’t control yourself, what makes you think you have the right to control anyone else?
Most people don’t even know they have control issues.
There’s always a justification. “I need this person to do this, or I’ll be uncomfortable.”
We call others rude, inconsiderate, disrespectful, or phobic.
And sure, sometimes they are.
But what if you redirected half that energy—away from fighting causes and toward healing yourself?
What could you build?
Would you be as angry, scared, or hopeless?
What if we all took that same energy and used it to become better humans?
Wouldn’t that naturally change the world we’re so frustrated with?
Control is the pandemic.
And yes, we need structure and order. But not domination.
No one has the right to impose themselves onto another soul’s journey.
Not parents, not leaders, not governments, not you.
We all came here with a path to walk.
Who are you to interfere with someone else’s?
